  • how do I make create a freeze frame effect?

Hello, I am trying to figure out what the best way to create a freeze frame effect is…I am shooting with an XL2 at 24p and I want to go straight from 100% motion to a frozen frame for a beat and then return to full motion. My concern is that I will get that jumpy ‘video’ look.

Can someone please advise me on what the best way to accomplish this would be.

    Thanks, Jeff.

Park your scene on desired fraem, “shift N” generally gives you a solid still of whatever is in the canvas window, and sends it to the viewer. Also a nice way to “collapse” all layers of an imported Photoshop file so you can sacale position, etc.
