  • How do I locate/determine what media is offline!?

Posted by Matt Chapman on June 10, 2015 at 10:25 pm

    Hey all-
I imported a rather long timeline from a friend and am conforming the edit for delivery overseas. When I try to render a small clip in order to run a test on some audio effects, Premiere comes back with “there is media offline in this project, the media will be rendered with a media offline marker” (paraphrasing).

When I open the project no link manager comes up asking about footage, and so I can’t seem to determine what files Premiere is talking about.

Is there a way to quickly get a list of what material is offline?

    thanks
    chap

Enter “offline” in the project panel search box.

Or add Offline Properties to the Metadata display in the Project Window.

…or do a sort on the Online Offline Column in the Project Window.
