    I’ve been looking all over the settings for the adobe render que that will tell me what my estimated file size for my render will be . i have to keep it under a certain size for email.

    Good idea, can you recomend a good video compression program? Open source?

    when rendering you can twirl down the render info box to reveal time and size estimates. They are imperfect but at least its something. Also, when you render you can have multiple output modules PER render. You can stagger your compression and output, say, 4 different movies with multiple compression settings from high to low. The render hit is minimal. Its one of AE’s little gems, as far as a feature go’s.

    I also like using quicktime pro for compression as well… or you can spend big bucks and get one of the dedicated compression apps…
