  • How do I install a language pack after I performed the main software installation

When I upgraded to Premiere Pro CS5 I only installed the english language pack as it was unlikely at the moment to be editing in another language, however now I’m in need of translate some french audio to english so I figured I would transcribe it first using Premiere, but I don’t have the french language pack installed.

I relaunched the installer and thought that I would get the option to install only components, but instead of that I’m only given the option to install the entire program again. Then I tried one of the payloads folders until I found: AdobePremierePro5fr_FRLanguagePack, I unzipped the dmg file inside but still no luck.

Does anyone know what do I have to do to get PPro to recognize french audio on my computer?

    Thanks.
