    hi
    i’m pretty new to adobes video editing software and i’ve gotten to grips with premier but after effects is a bit daunting to me! all i basically want to do is to put some screen shake over a clip of video. how do i do that? any guidance will be greatly recieved.

    The Pro bundle has “The Wiggler” – perfect for what you’re asking. I’ve used it to shake up CG explosion shots, and also to fake handheld camera shake.

    If you are using the Standard version of AE then set a couple of position keyframes that have small changes in position and are just a few frames apart.

    Copy and paste many times to fill the duration you need.

    Select them all and convert to Hold keyframes.
