How do I get both front and back objects in focus
I am taking product shots, the product is in front of the box. When I take the photo only one will be in focus, either the box behind the product or the product in front of the box. How do I get both objects to be in focus? Thanks! Gina

Very basic photography principal… use a higher f-stop. Cranking your f-stop setting up (i.e., using a smaller iris) will increase (make deeper) the depth of field, and the higher you go the more that foreground and background elements will be in focus. Shorter lenses will also be more helpful rather than long ones.
Of course you will have to increase your lighting and/or slow your shutter speed to get the proper exposure.

I agree use your F-stop and decrease your aperture this is extend your focus length of iris and shoot with a zoom lens, this can help you alter focusing distance you need as well.
