    Hi,

I have applied a preset to few clips and then i added new control to one clip. I want this last change to appear in all clips that i periously used. I tried to save the preset and even to overwrite default presets but i can not achive desired result. I overwrite the default preset in LooksBuilder/looks/basic but when i reopen it – there is no changes i’ve made. Why? What should i do? It is pretty hard to go back and apply the same control to all your clips in the project. I have more than a hundred..I use AP CS6

You can save your own settings if you right click on the effect when it’s set the way you want it…then select “Save Preset” and name it…it will appear in your effects panel. Once you have the preset the way you want it, you ca apply that preset to all your clips by selecting them all and dragging the preset to them all at once.

To change the effect that is on the clips now, you’ll first have to “Remove Effects-Video Effects” from all the clips, but that will clear all the video effects (Not Motion, Opacity, and Volume if you keep those unchecked) if you have other effects on them.
