  • How do I disable a plug-in and open a library?

I’m trying to open an older library in FCPX 10.4.5 on High Sierra.
It seems to have updated OK but then crashes on loading because of an old plug-in – Lemke Software’s Epicolor.
How can I disable this plug-in and get the library to open without it?
Tried moving it out of Motion Templates folder, but next time I loaded, the clever darn thing copied it back into that folder from where I’d stashed it on the desktop!

I think that’s an old discontinued plugin distributed through FxFactory. So if you launch the FxFactory app you should be able to find the plugin listed there under “Installed” and if you hold down the option key you should see the button next to the plugin icon show as “Uninstall”, and if you click that button and do it that way it will correctly uninstall and avoid FxFactory thinking there are missing files and restoring it.
