I doing a project in Cinema 4d, How do I do create a chryon or echo trail effect in C4D? I know how to do it in AE, but can you do it in cinema 4d? Here’s an example from these two images.

the superman effect is very easy, it’s just text extruded (or you could sweep text along a spline for a shaped extrude rather than straight out in that example) with a white texture on the front face and a transparent blue on the rest.

The Buena Vista looks like the text swept on a spline kind of shape but the blurriness would be a lot easier in post, it might be possible with depth blur with real tight control (or some other method) but I don’t know.

I put together a setup that achieves what you may be going for. You can easily change the text and the extrusion length to your liking.
