  • How do I create burned-in timecode in AFX?

    Hello all,

I searched through the forums and tuts but surprisingly could not find this issue addressed. Perhaps I used the wrong search terms.

I’m using AFX CS3 on Win XP Pro SP2.

I know there must be an easy way (script, effect, trick etc) to show the real-time timecode in the comp for a given animation.

    Thanks in advance.

    From the Effects menu, choose:

    Text > Timecode

    or

Text > Numbers and set the Type to Timecode.

The differences between the two approaches are pretty intuitive so I’m sure you’ll determine which is best for what you need pretty easily.
