im pretty sure there is a method/hotkey to make this happen

i have a graphic layer, and a txt layer below it. i want to scale them both to the centre of the graphic layer instead of manually placing the anchor point to the center of the graphic i want to copy and paste the anchor point data from the graphic to the txt, but it moves the layer in relation to the movement of the AP, how do i prevent this position movement from happening?

In your case you can parent the text layer to the graphic layer and then scale the graphic layer.
