  How do I copy a clip back to a p2 card for repair?

  To copy the clip back to the camera form FCP I reformatted the card but it creates a new content file when I reformat.
  How do I delete the new contents file on the card?
  It says I don’t have privledges?
  Also, do I need to turn off the thumbnails?
  I don’t see an option for that in the mcr mode.
