how do I colortrace to a sequence in same project?

April 5, 2013 at 9:21 pmin the conform window, right click on the sequence you want to ADD grades to, click Colortrace
then it will ask what sequence you want to use as the source. select your current project and the source sequence in the drop down.
i’m hoping this is changed in Resolve 10 to make choosing and copying grades easier.

April 5, 2013 at 9:27 pmIf the clip has the same identifiers, it should auto-link through the Master Timeline, unless you’ve got this function turned off.
If it doesn’t, it is doubtful that ColorTrace will work automatically, and you will be into a manual trace.
