  • How do I change Angles in the browser?

Posted by Beelaster on August 3, 2006 at 10:52 pm

I’m cutting a 12 camera multiclip project- Taking over for another editor. I need to set the shot angles so they are uniform across the project. How/ where do I make changes so multiclip can see them?

    Thanks!

You do that in the browser if the clips are already captured.
You’ll see the “angle” column. Just enter either numbers or
letters for each camera. Cam one could be angle 1 or a., etc.
    Is this what you need?

    Yes Dan,

I m being so cautious/detail-oriented cause this is the part where multiclip either sings or becomes trouble. Changes made in the browser will be saved, right? meaning I can sync everything, assign angles, make a multiclip and my angels assignments will remain as I renamed them?

    Micromanaging this particular detail,

Yep, they’ll stay the same. You’re just editing the metadata, I believe.

Just highlight all the clips (in the browser) that will be one particular angle and then right-click in the angle column and choose the right one. You’ll have to enter the angle on one of the clips first, though, before it shows up in your right-click drop down menu. Then, you can highlight the rest of the clips that share the same angle and right-click to change them all, instead of typing each one manually.
