  How do I capture from J-10 betacam player via firewire?

  Hey there,
  I recently picked up a Sony J-10 Betacam player. It has a firewire 400 DV output so I assumed I could just plug it into the firewire card of my editing PC and start capturing Beta tapes. However this is not the case. The computer does not recognize the device and I can’t find any drivers or information online about this kind of set up. Am I going to need an analog/digital bridge or can I do this directly? I’m using Premiere Pro 6. Thanks folks!
