How do i calibrate my monitors?
HOw can I calibrate my tv monitors? I have two: one for Avid and one for a Dvd dup program. Can someone tell me how to calibrate them so that they are correct? I know if Final Cut Pro you can use the standard color bars and adjust contrast, brightness, etc, with their color bars, but the Avid Xpress Pro color bars do not have the faint light grey bars on the bottom right of the pic to adjust with. Can someone help me out???

Import the SMPTE bars from the Avid folder.

You should be able to Google for a SMPTE bar file. Just be sure that you select the proper import settings otherwise you’ll shift the colors.
