How do I bring in MP4 / Planar 4:2:0 YUV video?
Hey all!
I’m trying to bring in a video which has the follow specs:
Codec: H264 – MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1)
Resolution: 1920×1090
Display resolution: 1920×1090
Decoded format: Planar 4:2:0 YUVIt plays perfectly well in VLC however it cannot be AMA linked and when I try to import it there is just black in Avid – nothing else.

Is it XAVC-S by chance?

Not sure about the latest versions, but my Avid does not like Mp4 at all.
The codec is not the issue, so the same content wrapped in a QuickTime container works.
