I’m trying to achieve the effect in the middle of the movie where the “squiggle lines” zoom into the center from the middle.
I’ve been playing a little with trapcode shine, but I can’t get the zooming from the center effect

Have you considered building everything as 3D layers and then moving your camera thru this? Seems simple enough and the clip really isn’t much moire than that. To accentuate the effect use displacement effects such as Polar Coordinates, bulge and a few others.
