there are many ways to do something like that. It might be good to look at this https://www.beeple-crap.com/the SubPrime one is kind of like what you are after and as he builds the houses more than one idea comes out. Not necessarily the right kind of thing but educational. The C4D file for subprime is in the resources section.

Happy to help. I would use joints instead of bones now as joints are the newer/better system. Still tricky, however. 😉
