You guys I’m working on Web videos for a client that are suppossed to be 426 x135. I’ve been bring in the videos that I initially captured at 720 by 480 into FCP then I have been exporting the projects into a quicktime and brining them into AE where I am comfortable and know how to export into a 428×135. How can I do this without having to leave FCP? That’s a long work around. Does anybody know of a better way???-Charles

Try this, File, Export, Using QuickTime Conversion, and Options will bring up a pop up menu where you can adjust the size as well as setting like compression, and frame rate.

You can do this out of fcp just like you would quicktime by using quicktime conversion, or you can take it to a compressor, set up a preset, apply the preset to your exported video and hit go.
