How difficult is India’s documentary film permit process?
Hi all,
I’m planning a documentary shoot in India in a few months and the permit application requires you to submit a treatment to the Indian government and give them the right to screen the final product for conformity to the treatment (if it is even approved in the first place). Has anyone here shot in India in the past 5-10 years, and, if so, what was your permitting experience like? Or did you shoot without permits?

Hi Mr. Andrew,
i want to inform you that getting the permission in india for any shooting/documentary in india is not a difficult task for us.i have been in this work for a long time and assisted many companies.
