    Mjello people!
Been looking at this footage from Nike, True City: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qet4NGswKfA

Im talking about the intro scene, with the cicles form into world-map, and their logo.
Can’t figure out how they did it, any ideas or links on how I can learn it, would be just great?

My guess would be a 3D package, maybe Max. It would be relatively easy to link a particle system to the vertices on the 3D topographical image that starts the clip out, then set the True City text as the target for the particles when they release from the topo. Then the particles simply dissolve to the solid logo.

You could probably do it in Form, but my knowledge of Form is rather limited, so I’m not sure. I know you can use a displacement map in Form, so it should be possible. I think 3D would just make it easier (that is, if you’ve had a few years experience with Max, Maya, C4D, or possibly even Blender).

probably other apps can do it too but a simple approach with C4D mograph i think might be two spline shapes, one for the type and on for the terrain map, mograph cloner clones and attaches the white spheres to the terrain shape then a spline effector moves all the spheres to a second spline shape for the type. camera move and what looks like a bit of post layering 2 versions of the mograph animation and then a dissolve to the white matte filled final white type.
