Activity Forums Maxon Cinema 4D How did he do this? Animated pattern on a 3d object?

    Hi! Animated patterns are basically video files imported into 1 of the material channels. (just like applying an image)
    Like say u make an animated pattern in after effects and import it into the color channel of a material.

    I know this is the C4d forum and this could probably very easily be created in C4d. I’m newer to C4d. However, Video Copilot’s Element 3d can easily do this too. You create your animation in a composition, use it as a “custom layer texture.” Then, you can use the replicator object to create multiple copies. When it plays, the animation will play on the object.

    :O Thankyou, I didn’t know Element 3d v2 can do that, going to try out later 🙂 btw I already have Element 3D V2 installed.
