How could I add a photo to my subpicture layers ?
Hi.
Regarding button highlighting with DVDEncore, a good question for the pros ! 🙂Instead of a simple subpicture layer, I would like to add a kind of token who would appear when I select a button, like a bullet beside the button.
In the example below, the token would be the “-” who represents the selected button, in this case button 2 :button 1

button 3My problem is : i would like this token-bullet to be a small photo, and not just a one color layer.
Anyone know how to do that ?

Your only option is to “bake” your bullet into your background graphic and use auto-action to switch between different menus, each containing such a graphic to represent the state. Subpictures cannot contain more than 4 colors out of a palette of 16 colors and 16 transparency levels.

look to Tutorial #9 of the advanced section of my site http://www.sitesled.com/members/doogs/downloads.htm it will show you how to go about it. Just adapt the process for your own needs (tutorial is for Encore 1.5)
