    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8anLDXCs8k&search=who%20is%20your%20daddy
at the very beginning it shows some flames waving ..how can this be done? and also those write on effects which appear near women..they look very organic like water splashes on a surface…is it normal write on?stroke?

    Hi EccoCid,

The flames could be done in illustrator or photoshop and using distort in Afx put a slight twirl of ripple on them. Keep tweaking it till get the desired effect pull focus on fore / back graound layers etc.. If it’s the text by the girls your talking about it does’nt seem to taxing. Alot like the effects & presets options in Afx 6.5 aminamtion presets – texts folder with motion blur. There is an organic section this but i find if you combine the various presets together you get a lot better text animations. Render these out and re-import and keep working the up can result in cool titles.

The splashes on the left & right lower screen look like artbeats. I’ve used a lot of these and find them excellent if you want to manipluate a desired effect. https://www.artbeats.com

This is my last project which involved the use of splashed paint like gfx.

Thanks for posting this question in reference to that video…a worthy goal indeed. I am an editor and fairly new to AE but realize the power of it and I am interested in that very style of graphical use. I wish you luck with your project as well.

Your website is AMAZING! Really beautiful work. I have always wondered how/where those textures are created for use in layered AE projects. Obviously I’m not looking to copy someone’s style but just want to understand the core basics of creating those assets and how to manipulate them.

    Thanks for inspiring me!
