  • How can I view XDCAM EX clips?

    I dont get it, PPro says its native to see xdcam ex.

    I have the clips, but i cant even see in Quicktime. Its a white screen. I downloaded the xdcam clip browser, SxS card reader driver, etc. still white screen.

    at my old shop we used Avid and never had a problem.

    Any ideas why i can’t see this? I found a 3rd party software called Calibrated that will let me finally view the footage, but its watermarked.

    Shouldn’t viewing it be Free? It was at my old place unlesss im missing something.

    HI Milton…

    what version of PPro are you using?
    Full version or trial?

    Trial might not have the codec installed (licensing fees from Sony and all)

    CS4 and CS5 use the Media Browser panel in PPro to view clips prior to importing it to your project panel.
