How can I use Boris Continuum Complete’s Cylinder Filter as a transition?
Dear Creative Cow,
I want to know how to use Boris Continuum Complete’s Cylinder Filter as a transition. Inspiration might come from this Windows Movie Maker plugin:https://www.rehanfx.org/metacreations.htm
Check out the roll down transition. It uses a cylinder to make the effect. Can I have Boris’ Cylinder Filter roll down, up, left, or right to make a scroll type transition. Trying to figure out how to put the video of the thing on there and roll out to reveal the next clip, or do I have to use After Effects? I looked at a tutorial of how to use filters as transitions and I have to say, it’s great. Can you please give me a tutorial on using BCC’s Cylinder Filter as a transition, or is it incapable of being a transition?

Just place the incoming clip on V2 and keyframe the position of the filter within the filter (not the motion tab). Have you tried that?
