  How can I use 720p50 VFR material?

  Hi,

  I have some 720p50 footage shot at a frame rate of 37fps. I imported it into Final Cut from a P2 card. It is coming up saying it is 720p 50fps and if I scroll through I can see 37 different frames per second with the rest duplicate frames. This all makes sense but how can I convert this to a clip that will play properly as a slowmo as intended.

  I gather I need to somehow remove the duplicate frames. I understand this can be done with 720p60 footage using the frame rate converter plug-in but is there no way to do this with 720p50 material?

  Any help would be much apreciated as I have been searching the forums for hours!
