    Hello,

I am trying to make a bee (GIF IMAGE) fly around the head of someone that is walking (video). But when handling “video event FX” and adding keyframes to GIF, I can’t see the guy walking then I can’t put the bee in the place I want to.

After that I found out elucidating John’s tips about Vegas (the title of this thread was one of the tips indeed! (https://www.johnrofrano.com/vegastips.htm#syncmedia).

So, it is possible to handle the cursor position both in main time line and in keyframe timeline, taking time from one and paste into another. I felt it annoying when creating my simple bee GIF fly away… I am thinking when to deal with bigger works… Or is it just a question of familiarize with the process?

    Best,
    Cadu

At the bottom left of the pan/crop box there is a little cursor icon with a lock next to it. Click this to sync the cursor with the timeline. this way your preview window will show the frame you’re working on in the pan/crop window.
