July 28, 2010 at 1:50 amI am a one-man band and have always had to turn off the connection on my MBP to run FCP at the same time as on my Mac Pro (when I’m using the MBP to render out something while I work on the Mac pro).
The problem here is copying all the media over or plugging an external drive in to the the second machine.
So I find the idea of Little Snitch appealing. I’ve installed it but something’s not working and I still get the alert that FCP is not allowed to run with the same serial number on two machines.

March 29, 2012 at 12:37 amUnless Apple make an announcement that their license terms have changed, then I don’t see EOL as altering the terms and conditions.

March 29, 2012 at 12:40 amI agree.. just found out too that apple because of the backlash is privately selling (not via the applestore) additional licenses of FCP7
