Hi from not raining anymore 22 degrees C York Uk 🙂

In After effects (Ive got CC but mm a bit of a rookie) I’d like to replicate the effect seen in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVsbGEc1X1g @ 12 seconds. Really like how pic twists and jump cuts.

    Any advice welcome 🙂

First, the picture is much bigger than the final composition, this is important so when you zoom/scale it doesn’t ter. The twists are achieved, by using rotation, scale and anchor point keyframes. The jumps aren’t even really jumps(you can see this playing frame by frame), but quick zooms, moves with a glow effect that ramps up and off quickly.

This is all pretty basic stuff, so I would strongly suggest you check out: Getting started with After Effects (CS4, CS5, CS5.5, CS6, & CC)
