  • How can I render Quicktime VR intermediate as sequence?

Hi, I need to create a panorama animation to be projected through 8 projectors on a 360 degree screen. Since there are no panorama camera setting in c4d, I tried setting up 8 cameras looking out from center in different angles, but when I put them together in a long stripe in AE, 2 problem came out:

    1. The images doesn’t “warp” like typical panorama images. (Usually, a straight line in panorama images will appear to be curved)

    2. For objects that are really close to camera, the images from different cameras doesn’t line up correctly.

And then I found out you can render out Quicktime VR panorama intermediate as a tif file in c4d. The image look right to me (it warps and lines up correctly.) However, it only renders out one single image from current frame at a time.

Is there any way you can batch render these Quicktime VR panorama intermediate still frames as animation sequence?

    Please help, thanks!

I would post your question to the Cinema forum at CGTalk. I know there are some regular posters there who have done this kind of work.
