    Hi guys,

In the attached file I have a text animation and the blue background. I have a video on which I wanna place this text animation with fine lines. Is there an AE-friendly way in cinema 4d to render this text alone with a transparent background, so when I open the footage in After Effect I will only have text and the background video visible below it?

I dont like blue screen and chroma keying stuff because they do not do the job very well.. The edges are not fine…kinda feathered and the blue/ green traces remain…

    Please help…

remove your background object, then go to Render Settings >> Save>> Alpha Channel and Straight Alpha.

Then just select a format that supports alpha, like PNG or Quicktime Movie.

    Good Luck
