I have a unique scenario where I would like to re-use an elaborate series of nested compositions I have created multiple times with different source footage. In a nutshell there are 50 clips of a talking head shot on blue. After a series of nested comps involving keys, feathers, crops, etc, the final composition is added to the render queue.

At this point I could render the comp and then choose replace footage in the project window so that my next clip is automatically swapped and the next clip is ready to render. What I would prefer to do is get all 50 clips set up and in the queue and then go home while it renders overnight. If I swap out the footage before the comp is rendered then I obviously lose that 1st clip.

I could save the project as a template and import that .aep repeatedly into a new project swapping the vid clip for each one but that seems kind of clunky.

Any clever work arounds for this?

    Thanks.
