    Hello, cows!

Need help with recreating this 70’s bumper animation. I have used tried using the Echo effect, animated the rotation to rotate the text, and the scale on the text layer to zoom in under the Transform property, so far my results aren’t looking fruitful. Below are videos of examples of what I’m accomplishing:

Anyone, please help me out. Thanks.

Brute force, animating it once in a pre-comp and then duplicating it and offsetting it, tinting.

Here’s my attempt. Could have picked a better font, but it was a nice diversion.

After studying the original more, I see where I could have moved the anchor point a little to create a more sweeping effect on the “C”. There are other things I see in how the words dissolve on where they feel like they are behind and not just a non-additive mix. Perhaps building this in a color space that’s not linear might make it feel more like the original. Also, artifacts from the film transfer that was probably done on an old broadcast “film-chain” could be added.
