How can I recreate this artwork?
Hello there,
I’m trying to recreate this video sequence but would like to make it as a 3d element (a cylinder with its surface floating).
I guess Trapcode is the way to go. Form perhaps? Any suggestion really appreciated 🙂

If you just need an extruded cylinder that perfectly matches the shapes, you can use FreeForm Pro or Free Form V2 to extrude the flat animation.

Hi Ted,
thanks for your answer.
I need to recreate the animation in AE and the problem I’m facing is how to replicate that sort of “fluffy” exterior surface of the cylinder. Can I apply a wave fx to the surface of an extruded cylinder?
