How can I preview LUT’s Quickly?
Hey Guys,
Ive got a bunch of LUT’s that Im starting to use as a base grade, and would like to flick through them easily to see which best suits my project.
At the moment in Davinci, that involves right click, through a few menus, then click on the LUT – then to get to the next LUT i have to do it all again.
Is there an easier way within Davinci, or in another program where I can click or simply toggle through a list of LUT’s to quickly preview them over my footage?
Ive tried it in Lattice, but that involves the same process.
Any ideas?

Just save the image with the graded LUT as a still or a memory key.

We have a solution for real time previewing of LUTs so you can see what effect they have before they’re applied.

You can also save a correction with the LUT as a Powergrade, then cycle through those using the split-screen windows options. It does take time to setup and label each one, but once it’s done, it’s done. This is a free feature that’s always been included with Resolve, plus you can have multiple Powergrade libraries if you choose. -
