  • how can i make the C4D world have ‘no light’?

Posted by Joe Carusoe on December 14, 2006 at 8:14 am

i have a bunch of billboard ads flying through space (just planes with jpegs on them)… there’s no light in the scene, yet the ones that face left are dark, the ones that face right are light.
it’s as if there’s a light in there, but there’s no light!
how can i make it render them just as the jpegs are- no shading?
    thanks!

Turn off the auto-light in the render options.

You’ll also want to put your textures in the material luminance channel. Otherwise it’ll *really* be dark. 🙂
