    Hi guys,

I’m hope you can help? I am trying to create a simple oval race track. I created a path created in illustrator, which i imported into cinema4d 9. I then added a square spline and sweep Nurb. Dropped both the square spline and my imported spline into it. But im having a few problems with the project so far. I cant seem to increase the rotaional segments, which means at a closer in spection of the bends you can see that its still quite blocky. Can anyone offer some advice on this matter?

    Much appreciated.

    Gus

Ok I think i ansewered the question to my own problem. I selected the oval spline within my sweep Nurb, then in the objects properties, I selected Uniform in the Intermediate points tab, and increased the number of points. I only hope ive done it the appropriate way.

yes, that is correct. The only thing you might want to try is the other types (besides Uniform) and increase the points/decrease the angle to see if those are better. Uniform is …uniform and you get points all along the spline evenly, some of the others will put more points in the bends and that is sometimes better (sometimes not). Don’t be afraid to try them all.
