How can I hang these lights?

Use a c-clamp or you can uses scissor clips in the hung ceiling if the ceiling can support the weight. You’ll have to make sure the clamps have the proper stud for your instrument.

If I’m seeing your image right it looks like you have a couple of pipes from which you plan to hang instruments.

If that’s the case, the clamps that John linked will definitely work (the C-clamp, not the scissor clamp). Those are pretty much the industry standard for hanging an instrument from a lighting grid.

Yes, they will hang a Kino. You’ll need one per fixture. No, you don’t need any other adapters… PROVIDING that the pipes are where you want the instruments, at the height that you want them. If you want them lower (or the flexibility to make them lower) then you’ll want some grip arms to lower them (any 5/8″ stock from the hardware store will also work, doesn’t have to be a “real” grip arm). You’d need a grip head, too, in that scenario. But if the pipes are where you want them, you don’t need anything else.

This pipe seems pretty thick and the image, looked like that particular clamp would not work.

Well, again, if those pipes are at the right positions and heights for where you want the fixtures, then you don’t need anything else… just the C-clamp with the attached baby pin.

After installing Mavericks I can’t see the embedded picture of the original post.

BUT I would not forget safety cables for each lamp. and the clamps as well.

except for back lights that are difficult to get out of shots or for lighting a green screen or other back ground, I really prefer using lights (particularly Kino Flos) on floor stands like a baby jr. Climbing up to the grid to make adjustments or moving them to a new location is kind of a pain. But if they are mounted absolutely where you want them then it’s certainly nice for a permanent set of some sort .
