How can I get the shaky camera effect used in rock music videos using after effects and a non shaky video?
For eg. I want something like the effect used in the song Omen by The Prodigy
Im posting the video so that you can view it for yourself.

I can think of two options:

VideoCopilot has a “Twitch” plugin which is powerful and has lots of options to get a similar result. Also, you could use the wiggle() expression, which is less powerful, but may give you what you need fast and easily.

    Hope this helps.

You can also keyframe the position and move the clip rapidly side to side, up and down, etc., and use CC RepeTile or Motion Tile to expand the edges of the clip so you don’t see the layer underneath – or black. It’s a noticeable repeated or mirrored edge, but if you’re moving the clip fast enough they won’t notice.
