  • How can I get rid of an irregular shaped background from a photo?

Posted by Noam Osband on February 7, 2017 at 11:23 pm

I’m playing with some photos, and a few of them were scanned on top of a white background that often is off center. The problem is, when I try to crop it, I end up getting part of the photo because the edges of what I want to get rid of (the background) dont follow straight lines according to the X/Y access. Any thoughts on how to do this? I’m attaching a photo as an example. It’s easy to center the photo by rotating it, but I want to get rid of the white edges around it to play with it more. I want just the photo.
