    How can I extract Z depth information from a Zpic image from Softimage Xsi ?!

    I got a couple of pic sequence with the z-depth (zpic) rendered aswell.

    Heres the situation.

    I got 2 sequence on to different layers.
    layer1 – on top
    layer2 – under

    On layer2 Ive rendered a object that is suppose to go in front of layer1.

    Now because Zpic is rendered on both sequence and AE is suppose to understand Zpic. This object is supose to go in front … but it doesnt.

    How can I activate Zdeph ?!

    I think that AE can not understand Zpic dirrectly.It can only understand z-channel by the 3Dchannel effects.
