    Hi,

I am doing some movies and would like to protect my DVD from beeing copied.

Is there a software or a way to protect them?

    Thanks
    Andre

Consumer-level DVD authoring tools do not support protection methods, but it doesn’t matter much. The Hollywood studios pay big royalties to be able to use CSS and Macrovision protection on their pressed DVDs, and it does them no good because software to copy protected DVDs is so easy to download.

The best protection is to have a good relationship with your customers, and make your packaging, DVD printing, cover art & inserts well-designed to reinforce the idea that the original DVD is something of value to be respected.

Thats good advice John…besides if people were copying your movies…you’d be a millionaire already 🙂
