  • How can deletwe several clips

In my workflow I have complex sequences that I need to clean up everyday.
How can I delete several clips at the same time if there are NOT above each other?…
So far all I found is the in/out–> lift function

When I use the select tool or opt-lasso and hit delete it takes several tries to get rid of the clips because Avid seems to delete the effects first…

    I waste so much time.

    Thanks for helping!

You might be able to map the remove effect command to the keyboard, then you could select your clips with the direct selection tool, hit Remove Effect, which will work on all the selected clips, and then hit delete.

I actually found a faster way (less key strokes)

While select tool is active, click on the clip or multiple select using Cmd-Click and then Cmd-X as in “cut”
    Works like a charm!
