How can a scrolling bar dissappear?
After updating my website one of the pages had the scrolling bar vanished (the vertical bar on the right hand side). Now it’s impossible to scroll. I tried on other computer and my iPhone – the scrolling bar is there! Obviously is my Mac. I was told to clear the cache, I did on both Safari and Firefox, but it still missing!
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

The first step is to try a different user account (create a new one if there isn’t one) and see if the problem is there or not.
If the other account has the scroll bars, then there is likely a problem with some plist file in your account.
If the scroll bars are still missing, open up a support ticket at https://www.apple.com/support/

Fixed it.
right after the section in the html, for the problem page – there’s an opening ‘<body style = ….’ section
in that, I had ‘ overflow: hidden ‘ – I changed that to visible & everything was fine.
