  • How automate a selection and blur effect?

Posted by Roman Jaquez on December 12, 2005 at 11:13 pm

    Hello,

I have created a batch of .psd images from a video clip at witch I want to re-touch the background using the blur tool to create a shallow depth of field effect. When I record the actions, and apply the automate batch action I have created, it does not affect the images I want to alter. Does anyone know how to achieve this?

    Thanks a bunch,

    Roman

Lens Blur filter… you can try to automate creating the alpha channel for the depth matte… if photos are similar.. use calculations command

    Thank you Richard,

That sounds a bit advance for me… but I am sure I can figure it out. Any tips on “How to” about your comment?

    Thanks,
