  • How apply properties to an entire track?

    Hi,

Using SV Pro for the first time in months, and I’m a little rusty. If I have a video track that has a logo that I’m watermarking, how to I apply the properties through that particular track (e.g. the opaqueness, the sizing/location of the watermark, etc.) For this particular track, it’s a PNG file that I want to be on top of the actual video track.

I’ve done it before, but can’t remember how to do it. Thanks.

You have VP12? I understand you have a single PNG Event on say Track1, above ALL your footage – yes? I’m also assuming you have the Logo with its transparent background? You didn’t say? Now, if all that’s correct then this it what I do:

1] Positionals: EITHER use Pan/Crop to position OR I have long since learnt to rather set up my logo’s size within a graphics package first on the correct “plate” to bring it into VP. And again, I’ve long since stopped using Track Motion for positionals and rather use that for more time related manipulations.

2] Opacity: Pull down the very Top Edge of the Logo Event for Opaqueness Control.

    Opacity Control Vegas VP12

    HTHs?

    Grazie
