Don’t quite know what you’re looking for but you could try a wiggle expression on the position for the text (“P” reveals Position, then Alt Click the Position stopwatch and then paste in the expression):

    wiggle (.5,10)

The .5 if the frequency, the 10 is the amplitude, play with the numbers. This will make the whole word hover as one.

If you want each letter to hover independently, scroll down the text, click the “Animate” triangle>choose “Position”. Now AltClick the “Range Selector 1” Position stopwatch, then paste in the expression. Now twirl down the Range Selector 1, and twirl down the “Advanced”, change the “Shape” from Square to Round, fool around with the parameters until you like it.

But, I think the coolest look is Dan’s “Undulations”, here:

You need to start all over and make each letter it’s own layer, then drag the letters around until they look like you want them to for the start. Now add Dan’s expressions for Position and Rotation and you’ll have letters that are like Lilly Pads floating on a pond.
