Hours and Hours of footage…
I’m wading through hours of footage of a golf tournament. And I only want to grab the action and send it to my sequence.
So I hit I then O, then I drag the mouse, but is there a short cut for “Overwrite”?thanks

Or the little red envelope looking thing on the bottom of your canvas window if you don’t like keyboard shortcuts for some odd reason.

I can’t imagine someone not liking keyboards strokes.
But…i then o then F10, but still have to move my hand off the keyboard, back to the mouse, click the viewer, back to the keyboard.
Anyway around the mousing actions?

You can assign a different command, such as Control F10 to Expose’ in Preferences so it doesn’t conflict with FCP F10.

Q toggles between the Viewer and the Canvas.

Never knew about the keyboard layout.
I used to use keyboard shortcuts all the time but forgot them after a gap of two years without access to an edit suit.
