Hours and Hours of footage…
Posted by Richard Herd on April 6, 2009 at 8:24 pmI’m wading through hours of footage of a golf tournament. And I only want to grab the action and send it to my sequence.
So I hit I then O, then I drag the mouse, but is there a short cut for “Overwrite”?thanks

April 6, 2009 at 8:30 pmOr the little red envelope looking thing on the bottom of your canvas window if you don’t like keyboard shortcuts for some odd reason.

April 6, 2009 at 8:35 pmI can’t imagine someone not liking keyboards strokes.
But…i then o then F10, but still have to move my hand off the keyboard, back to the mouse, click the viewer, back to the keyboard.
Anyway around the mousing actions?

April 6, 2009 at 8:36 pmYou can assign a different command, such as Control F10 to Expose’ in Preferences so it doesn’t conflict with FCP F10.

April 7, 2009 at 10:07 amNever knew about the keyboard layout.
I used to use keyboard shortcuts all the time but forgot them after a gap of two years without access to an edit suit.
Thanks its a great help
